The Legacy Behind Women of Wealth
Women of Wealth began as a quiet idea for a faceless marketing page but unexpectedly became a movement rooted in love, loss, and legacy. In early 2024, I returned to London from Ghana after discovering both my parents were unwell. My mother, who was and is my biggest supporter and the woman who lit up every room she entered, had quietly been declining in health.
In an effort to lift her spirits, I planned the very first Women of Wealth event as something for her to look forward to. Though she couldn’t attend, her excitement, energy, and essence filled the space. That event revealed something powerful: women deeply needed a space that was spirit-led, honest, and made room for authentic connections. A space where wealth is redefined beyond money, touching every area of our lives.
After my mum’s passing in October 2024, Women of Wealth became more than a community—it became a tribute to her. Every event is a continuation of her spirit. Her voice, her strength, her light—lives on in every woman we empower, every connection we nurture, and every soul we uplift.
This is more than business. It’s her legacy and this is just the beginning.
In Honour of Denise Ann-Marie
In honour of my mother Denise Ann- Marie and the incredible spirit she carried, Women of Wealth is committed to supporting women who are rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse, as well as single mothers striving to create better futures for their families.
This mission is rooted in love, legacy, and liberation. As we continue to host events that empower and uplift, we are also raising funds to provide practical support, safe spaces, and community resources for the women who need it most.
